Vetrazzo
For more than one decade, Vetrazzo has created surfaces from 85 percent recycled glass in a resin-free cement binder. These surfaces can be found in places where people live, work and play all across the country. Most of the glass comes from curbside-recycling programs. Other glass comes from windows, dinnerware, stemware, windshields, stained glass, building demolition, traffic lights and other unusual sources. Every Vetrazzo surface’s history is tracked. Once a consumer purchases and registers his or her product, a Certificate of Transformation explains where the glass originated.
